Static
Line Jump
- The United
States Parachute Association (USPA)
defines it as : A parachute jump during
which deployment of the parachute is
initiated by a static line attached to the
aircraft, used primarily in student
training. Which raises the question,
what’s a static line? Well the USPA says
: A line, cable or webbing, one end of
which is fastened to the pack, the other
to some part of the aircraft; used to open
a container or deploy a canopy as the load
(you) fall away from the aircraft
Our Static Line program includes a solo exit from the aircraft and a solo decent under parachute.
This method requires the student to attend a ground school before jumping.
First jump classes held on Thursday by appointment prior to your
jump that weekend. The length may vary depending on the size of
the class but are typically 4 hours and begin at 6pm.

Tandem
Jump (Weight Limit 200 LBS)
|
$160.00
|
|
The United States Parachute Association
(USPA) defines a tandem as: A
Skydive during which two people use the same parachute system, each wearing a harness with
one attached to the other and featuring a single piggyback container system with an
extra-large main and reserve canopy (parachute).
Tandem jumps typically exit the aircraft from 10,000 feet (that's nearly
two miles straight up) and freefall for about 45 seconds. At 4,500 feet, the main
parachute will be activated stopping your rapid descent. Under canopy enjoy the breath
taking view only the birds are privileged enough to know. The world is literally at your
feet. Soak up the beautiful view of Tulsa before landing safely back to Earth.
Training for a Tandem is usually done on the same day of the jump. It
takes about an hour long, then you're out the door of the airplane!
